Company profileARMA Joint-stock Company was established in 1971 for the production of steel castings and ball valves for industrial applications. The factory is located in the town of Loznitsa, which is situated 330 km northeast from Sofia and 120 km away from Varna The factory is specialized in the production of steel ball valves and different kind of castings from steel and cast iron (grey and ductile) as well as tetrafluoroethylene coating of metal parts and tetrafluoroethylene products. The foundry disposes of equipment providing closed production cycle - from the development and production of the tooling to the machining and painting of the parts. PRODUCTION AND CAPACITY
Three casting methods are used in Arma for production of castings: investment (lost-wax) casting, shell casting and sand casting (for more information see PRODUCTION PROCESS). The main characteristics of the parts produced by these three methods are as follows: - shell casting: single weight - up to 50 kg, max. dimensions - 500/400 mm; 800/500 mm The factory has facilities for heat treatment and machining of the cast parts as well as for painting and tetrafluoroethylene coating. The parts produced at Arma find application in the following industries: machine-building, energetics, chemical industry, water and gas fittings, etc. The production is designated for the Bulgarian and European markets. QUALITY Quality control is performed in a mechanical properties examination lab. Leak-proofness, tensile strength, hardness, and other tests can be performed. Spectral analysis and X-ray control can also be provided. A procedure for ISO 9001 certification is in process. MTG General Selling Terms and Conditions |
